Hi everyone, and welcome to Hits 1's top 30 of 2021. This is so crappy, I don't even know where to start. But I guess lets get into it. (By the way I know this is so late but I literally has no motivation to get it done so here we are)

So you may be wondering, what's so bad about it? After all, the rankdown went surprisingly well. Buuuut, the placement of many of these songs is WAY off. Lets start out with the obvious, Good 4 U by Olivia Rodrigo. Without factoring in airplay, this song is WAY above anything else on this list, with 9 weeks at #1 and a tenure of 22 weeks. Factor IN airplay, and Good 4 U only separates itself more, being the third most played song this year behind Heat Waves and Therefore I Am. Which brings me to my next point. WHY IS THEREFORE I AM NUMBER ONE?!?!?!? It was #1 in airplay, but it never hit #1 on the countdown and was only on for 23 weeks. That doesnt spell #1 to me. Next, why is Save Your Tears so low? Kiss Me More, MONTERO, and Forget Me Too all spent less than twenty weeks on the countdown and peaked at the same place or lower as Save Your Tears, and yet they placed 15 spots higher with about 5 less weeks???????? GOD sometimes I hate Hits 1. Why is Butter here? Like, great song, but it only spent 12 weeks on the countdown. They couldn't have included an amazing song like You that actually made an impact on the countdown? No, certainly not. The only things that make (almost) complete sense are the top 5 and the bottom 5. Hits 1 actually picked correct songs to go here (besides Butter and Save Your Tears) so I give them credit there.

Anyways, thank yall for reading. What are your opinions on this rankdown? I'm really curious, so let me know and see you soon.
