Debuts
As I said earlier, our list of debuts is not great. But starting us off at number 25 is Message in a Bottle from Taylor Swift. This is an exception to that. Taylor's voice is amazing as always and the song progresses nicely. It's much better than Run that was on the countdown last week.

Next up is the second Walker Hayes song on Hits 1, U Gurl. This song is not good at all. He doesn't sound as bad as he does in Fancy Like, and the chorus is OK, but the verses are atrocious and the production is terrible. Hopefully this flops and/or kicks out Fancy Like soon.

Our final debut if from a group called Monsta X, with their song One Day. I find this quite bad. No one sounds good here, and the production is terrible. It somehow made its way into the abyss after dropping out of Hitbound a couple weeks ago. I hope the #19 debut doesn't mean anything and that it leaves soon.

Best Debut: Message in a Bottle - Taylor Swift

Biggest Jump: Overpass Graffiti - Ed Sheeran (+9) I am a bit surprised this jumped so much on its second week, but I'm not going to complain.

Biggest Drop ; Industry Baby - Lil Nas X/Jack Harlow (-10) This deserved to be number one. Of course, it could make a comeback like Beggin was.

HitBound

Its you, not me (Sabotage) - Masked Wolf/Bebe Rexha (2)
Oh My God - Adele (1)
Life Goes On - Oliver Tree (2; second time)
SAD GURLZ LUV MONEY - Amaarae/Moliy/Kali Uchis (2)
let you - iann dior (2)
Dynamite - Sean Paul/Sia (6)
Have Mercy - Chloe (4)
The Weekend - BIBI (6)
Soft Landing - JP Saxe (3)
Alone - Trevor Daniel (9)
abcdefu - GAYLE (1)
GHOST TOWN - Benson Boone (3)
Do it to it - ACRAZE & Cherish (2)

This week we gained two new Hitbound songs, kicking off with Oh My God from Adele. This song was in the Abyss for a while, but it has now entered Hitbound and I love it. Adele sounds amazing and this song is more fun than something like Easy on Me.

Our other Hitbound debut was much less good, being abcdefu by GAYLE. I like some punk rock *cough* Olivia Rodrigo and Machine Gun Kelly *cough* but this song just isn't good. GAYLE doesn't sound good here and the production is boring. I hope this leaves sooner rather than later.

We lost two Hitbound songs this week, which is quite a rarity these days. MONEY and feel like this both left, but feel like this is still getting AirPlay so it is in the abyss. As for MONEY, it was never good, so I'm not mad to see it go.

Blurbs in a bottle

I'm very happy that The Outside dropped to #30 on its second week. Hopefully it gets sent back to  Hitbound and never returns.

It's kind of surprising that Easy on Me hasn't taken over number one yet. I'm not complaining, because Shivers is amazing. I'm also glad it's barring Cold Heart from getting to #1.

Why did Industry Baby have to drop so much? At least That's What I Want is now in the top 5.

Hopefully Better Days can stick around for multiple 1TW cycles, as it's very good.

As for the exits this week, A-O-K had a surprisingly good run and was starting to grow on me. Run was rightfully replaced by Message in a Bottle, and Beggin is essentially a bad song dropping out for another bad song.

Thank y'all for viewing my first ever post.
